Slipping anchor,
Making one last call…

 

To plumb the depths…
Upon, yet another, tired egress,

 

Shipwrecked, in search of shore…

 

 



Part of a small but growing series of poems about boats it would seem. It is very strange how the subconscious, or whatever it is, provides according to its own narrative.

Meanings: a premonition of death ? Poetry about Poetry ? Someone lost, no matter where they go ? I would say all three 🙂
